1. Who we are
Salio Smart Grow ("we", "us", "the Service") is a web application operated from Nairobi, Kenya, that helps businesses reconcile M-Pesa and bank payments, match them to customers, issue receipts and produce reports. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service records and organises payment information that you provide (pasted M-Pesa confirmation messages, bank credit alerts, statement files or manual entries). It is a record-keeping tool: it does not move money, is not a wallet or payment processor, and does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your records and for meeting your own statutory obligations (e.g. to KRA).
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One account represents one business. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business you register.
4. Free trial and subscription
- Every new account gets a 30-day free trial with all features. No payment details are required to start.
- After the trial, continued use costs Ksh 400.00 per 30 days, payable through our M-Pesa Paybill (a payment prompt sent to your phone, or a manual Paybill payment using your account number). Paying a larger amount extends your access proportionally.
- If your access expires, your account is limited to the billing page — your data is not deleted — and everything unlocks automatically when payment is received.
- Subscription payments are non-refundable except where Kenyan law requires otherwise. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice shown in the app; changes never apply retroactively to time you have already paid for.
5. Your data and your customers' data
- The records you import belong to you. You can export them at any time (CSV, Excel or PDF) from the Reports page, and you may request a full copy from us.
- Imported payment messages contain personal information about your payers (names, phone numbers, amounts). You confirm that you have a lawful basis to keep such records, as required by the Data Protection Act, 2019. We process this information only to provide the Service to you — see our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; create false or misleading payment records; attempt to access other users' data; interfere with or disrupt the Service; resell or copy the Service; or attempt to reverse-engineer it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but the Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and automatic parsing of messages may occasionally misread a payment — always verify important figures. To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, our total liability for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account and data at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. On request before deletion, we will provide an export of your data.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
